The Sr Specialist for Enterprise Solutions Marketing executes the company’s B2B marketing transformation strategy using audience-centric tactics and sales enablement solutions to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention of members and customers for SHRM’s customized product suite of business solutions. The specialist has deep knowledge of audience insights and behaviors as well as marketing technology and enablement tools to deliver results. The senior specialist is an exceptional storyteller that motivates the audience to action. Additionally, the incumbent is comfortable helping to establish new efforts without existing processes to follow.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute and project manage SHRM’s B2B focused marketing strategies to generate demand, drive engagement within target enterprise accounts, and achieve revenue goals across the Enterprise Solutions segment. Includes but is not limited to event sponsorships and integrated marketing campaigns across email marketing, digital and direct mail.

  • Partner with various stakeholder teams such as Enterprise Sales, Executive Network Marketing, and Membership to build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Act as the deployment expert of integrated B2B marketing plans, including Account Based Marketing programs to target Enterprise accounts.

  • Drive loyalty and preference with audience creating high customer lifetime value.

  • Build and monitor marketing automation campaigns and operations throughout the customer lifecycle.

  • Drive continued innovation in evolving marketing programs to engage audience segment most effectively.

  • Together with SHRM’s creative agency partners, execute on the creation of supporting marketing collateral from presentations and flyers to social media and digital assets.

  • Utilize data-driven marketing best practices such as customer segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics to inform spend decisions and drive a favorable return on investment (ROI).

  • Operationalize SHRM’s audience-centricity model and partner with analytics to constantly monitor and optimize segment’s engagement and experience.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • At least five (5) years of product, membership and/or solutions customer-centric marketing experience in with at least three (3) years of experience focusing in B2B marketing.

  • A solid understanding of the B2B sales funnel and strong focus on driving qualified leads and Sales opportunities.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across division to implement processes and achieve results.

  • Expertise in email copywriting, using messaging to convert.

  • Expertise in marketing reporting- pulling data, analysis, and optimization recommendations.

  • Deep understanding of content marketing tailored for audience segments – ability to apply consumer insights to improve campaigns (copywriting, targeting, delivery and performance)

  • Customer lifecycle marketing including demand generation manager, product sales, and using content to convert.

  • Previous experience with marketing automation programs such as Marketo (preferred), HubSpot or Pardot and a solid understanding of Salesforce and Google Analytics.

  • High level of responsiveness and ability to adapt to change.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Appetite to innovate, fail-fast, and be smart and curious.

  • Lead with bold purpose while collaborating fiercely with a high degree of accountability.

  • Oversight of digital advertising, SEO/SEM, and/or social media efforts.

The hiring range for this position is $83,000 to $95,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
