Under the direction of the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist will support the design, development, implementation and execution of digital marketing products and programs. This position will be responsible for overseeing, fulfilling and executing digital and paid media campaigns, collaborate closely with the Marketing, Brand, Communications, Editorial and Creative Services teams, as well as work with the agency of record to ensure strong and consistent design and successful campaign execution. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders to effectively coordinate and manage the delivery of campaigns across a network of well-established websites for world recognized brands. In addition, the Digital Marketing Sr. Specialist will serve as a technical and project lead for digital campaign, aiding in decision-making regarding process improvements, cross-departmental coordination and training
Support the Manager, Digital Marketing in day-to-day management of all paid ad campaigns from inception through completion.
Assist with developing and implementing strategies and process for new advertising opportunities and new products or emerging media.
Providing stakeholders best practices on the initial concepts and ensuring adherence to ad specs, brand standards and testing.
Ensuring campaigns have proper tagging for marketing analytics.
Train specialists/departments on proper tagging practices as well as how to find specific analytics data. Test and tag marketing landing pages with Google Tag Manager ID.
Maintain audience customization process for campaigns and agency.
Manage lead generation initiatives, downloading social leads and collaborating with Membership ACQ team.
Maintain schedules and tracking documents for all paid campaigns, in coordination with teams.
Collaborate with Editorial to place house ads and leverage editorial content in paid campaigns, testing a mix of direct and content marketing approaches.
Daily monitoring of performance dashboards to ensure campaigns run effectively, and take learnings for other channels.
Collaborate across organization to integrate messaging, learnings and upcoming initiatives across all campaigns.
Provide insights and strategic recommendations for campaigns and marketing module enhancements, including any real-time personalization tactics, SEO keyword updates, etc.
Review and distribute reports, as well as provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Stay up-to-date with digital and social media trends to propose new marketing ideas.
Participate in vetting and recommending a project management system that can be used for internal requests and cross-team collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication's plus 5 years relevant experience (2 within advertising design and trafficking) required. If degree is in unrelated field, candidates holding certificates in Online, Graphic and or Multimedia Digital Design and Development will be considered.
Knowledge of major or in-house ad serving system a plus.
Agency and/or non-profit experience a plus.
Proven project management skills required.
Google Analytics certification required
Creative and detail-oriented
Experience project managing paid digital media campaigns.
Experience with Google Analytics and/or email reporting required.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience with project management, with an ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines required.
Experience in Microsoft Office software applications—MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with operation Social Media platforms, and social content development best practices.
Experience with HTML5, Adobe platforms, Flash, video and web interfaces. CSS a plus.
Experience with trafficking system (in house or commercial)

Regularly required to sit; talk and hear, use hands to type, file, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
