SUMMARY

The Consulting Services Coordinator provides support to ensure operations function efficiently and strategies are executed effectively. The role offers administrative and project support, ensuring services are delivered with excellence. The Consulting Services Coordinator supports the growth of the SHRM brand and its standing as industry thought leaders through meticulous project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and coordinate department meetings.

  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

  • Provide comprehensive support for advisor-client interactions, professional development initiatives, and the orchestration of impactful event experiences.

  • Refine strategic presentations and reports to uphold high-quality standards and reinforce position as thought leaders.

  • Analyze initiative outcomes for continuous improvement.

  • Edit project deliverables for clarity and quality.

  • Utilize project management tools to enhance task efficiency and maintain department accountability.

  • Manage budget tracking with senior management guidance.

  • Oversee meticulous documentation and file management to support operational excellence.

  • Actively participate in team meetings to align with and advance the department’s strategic objectives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • At least two years related experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating seamlessly with others and taking direction from the consulting services team.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and project management tool.

  • Experience using CRM or graphic design software is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.

  • Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Work environment

  • Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment.

The hiring range for this position is $46,500 to $61,000 per year. This range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
